Jackie Edwards is Head of BBC Children’s Acquisitions and Independent Animation – covering both CBeebies and CBBC, the UK’s two foremost Children’s television channels. Prior to joining CBeebies in October 2008, Jackie worked as an animation producer and consultant working on many prestigious and award-winning animated series and specials in the Independent sector - from BAFTA, RTS, Prix Jeunesse and Prix Danube winning The First Snow of Winter for BBC1 through to the Pulcinella winning Frankenstein’s Cat for CBBC and France 3. At BBC Children’s, Jackie now manages the Animation and Acquisitions slate and she is Executive Producer on many of CBeebies' animated series, such as Tree Fu Tom, Octonauts, Bing, Rastamouse and The Clangers.
Sara Mullock started her career in animation in the 1970s, and has had the good fortune to have collaborated with (and learned from) some of the best in the business. She’s produced for studios including Aardman, Spitting Image, Will Vinton Studios and Mackinnon & Saunders.
Robert Morgan is a filmmaker specialising in stop-motion animation. His films - including The Man in the Lower-Left Hand Corner of the Photograph, The Cat With Hands, The Separation, Bobby Yeah and Invocation - have been screened around the world at festivals such as Telluride, Sundance, Rotterdam and Clermont-Ferrand. He has won numerous awards, including a Welsh BAFTA, the Arts Foundation Award for Animation, and a British Academy Award nomination. His latest film is D is for Deloused, made for the feature film anthology The ABCs of Death 2.
